Did you know that there is actually a difference between Antibacterial and Antimicrobial properties?

Antibacterial means it simply works to eliminate bacteria – nothing else.  The ingredients also help kill additional/newly-introduced bacteria for a period of time after use (such as when using antibacterial soap for handwashing).

Antimicrobial agents fight microbial infections by killing or preventing growth and replication of disease-causing microorganisms such as bacteria, protozoa, fungi, viruses, some algae and some worms.  A much broader scope of protection.
