Graphic Designer, Sleepy Eye

Today we honor Cheryl Miekle as a Koozie Group® Hero! A Graphic Designer in our Sleepy Eye facility, Cheryl has been with us for over 36 years! A wealth of knowledge and creativity, Cheryl started as a cartographer drafting road maps for the MicroMaps product line. She has since transitioned to a Graphic Designer in the Creative Department, working on promotional pieces, calendars and worship bulletins.

Cheryl states her favorite part of working at Koozie Group is the people. “I am surrounded by incredibly talented, hardworking, GOOD people.” she says. When it comes to People Powers, Cheryl is most passionate about ONE TEAM and our saying “No one works in a vacuum. Be a blessing, not a burden.”

Cheryl approaches every task with a consistent level of accuracy, patience, and creativity. For example, Cheryl volunteered to take on the HotLine catalog, knowing it was a rush with a lot of missing information. She patiently learned to use updated software and untangled inefficient files that took dozens of hours to put into usable documents. Cheryl also brings great creativity to her projects. Anchor Wallace customers often comment on the contemporary fresh bulletin designs that Cheryl creates. She always responds with patience, resilience, and dedication through every obstacle.

Cheryl’s favorite Koozie product is the Olympus 36-can Kooler and in her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, work on various art projects and her flower garden.

Cheryl’s steady commitment to getting the job done right and on time makes her a true Koozie Group hero. Thank you, Cheryl for being such a valuable member of the Koozie Group Team for 36 years, with many more to come!
