Norwood & BIC Graphic North America conducted an Open House and Site Tour event the week of July 11, 2011. The event was developed to help distributors understand the newly integrated manufacturing operation and how the products are manufactured and/or imprinted at each site.
Feedback was overwhelmingly positive as distributors shared their impressions of the site capabilities, staff and operation. "We really enjoyed the tour and were impressed with the efficiency in which the products were produced," said Bart Brodt of Isaksen Promotions. "One thing I did like was seeing the employees carefully inspect and even pull out product if they did not like the print. I am always looking for companies that pay attention to detail and quality."
"I truly appreciated the time spent at your facility and now feel even more confident in selling your products," said Ginny Black, of Audaige Image Works. "Looking forward to my continued relationship with BIC Graphic."
The tour of the BIC facility was impressive," said Wayne Greenberg, of JB of Florida, a Division of Geiger. "It no longer astonishes me that BIC ships 1.8 million printed products a day from Clearwater. "I've seen the system and the people. And it's a WOW!"
Over 160 distributors visited the sites during the week of July 11. The open house included a presentation by the site manager, a meet and greet with North American senior management and an extensive, in-depth tour of the manufacturing operation.
"The turnout was fantastic and we received such positive feedback that we are definitely going to host more of these events next year," said Lori Bauer, Director of Trade Marketing. "We thank our distributors for taking the time out of their busy schedules to attend."
