BIC Graphic was pleased to host John Kline, Congressman for Minnesota’s 2nd District, at their Red Wing, MN site on August 7, 2014. The Congressman was joined by two of his staffers, Brooke Dorobials, District Director, and Troy Young, Communications Director as well as two UMAPP (Upper Midwest
Association of Promotional Professionals) Board Members, Carter Sharp, Bertelson One Source, and Dave Malek, Edward’s Garment. Tim Dunford, Site Manager, and Bill Benolken, Account Manager and UMAPP Government Relations Chair, hosted an in-depth tour of the facility and an overview of the promotional products industry.

They also discussed the fact that the promotional products industry is primarily made up of small businesses and Congressman Kline underscored the importance of revising the tax code to help facilitate the growth of this business segment in particular.
