Human Resources Business Partner – Clearwater, FL
Today we recognize Matthew Fetzer for his role as a Human Resources Business Partner. Matthew joined the Koozie Group team just over three months ago.
In his role, Matthew helps the manufacturing and corporate sides of the company with their day-to-day people management tasks, often bouncing back and forth between Building 1 and Building 2 in Clearwater as needs arise. No two days are the same, however, as every scenario Matthew handles is unique.
Not only are people the biggest part of Matthew’s job, they’re also, hands down, his favorite part.
“Everyone has been so welcoming and willing to help,” he said. “It doesn’t matter what the role, title, or experience is – everyone is willing to lend a hand when asked.”
As for his favorite Koozie Group product, Matthew loves the Koozie® Triple Vacuum Tumbler, noting its versatility is hard to beat. When asked which people power he is most passionate about, Matthew chose “One Team.”
“This one speaks to me as there is no one person above any role when it comes to helping out. I work this way and feel like this mindset goes a long way toward building a better company culture,” he said.
Cassie Otto, Senior Business Partner in Human Resources, said Matthew takes the One Team mentality to the next level.
“Matt goes out of his way to utilize his partners for support and steps up to all inquiries from his client groups with thorough and timely answers,” she said. “Additionally, when a few of his team members needed assistance, Matt stepped right in to help out so that no team had been left unsupported.”
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife, Crystal, as well as watching movies, fishing on the weekends, and staying up to date on any and all things related to sports!
