Today we honor Regina Hettinger and Laela Mason for their roles as Accounts Receivable employees in our Finance Division.
For the past three years, Regina has worked as an Accounts Receivable Associate at Koozie Group – reconciling accounts, collecting money, and speaking with distributors each day. She loves being able to help distributors work through any concerns they have, especially when she can hear a smile in their voice at the end of a call.
“This is where my ‘Customer Obsession’ comes in,” Regina said, speaking about one of the People Powers she is most passionate about.
In addition to Customer Obsession, Regina also strongly identifies with the “One Team” People Power. “My co-workers and management team are the best! They are always available to help and great to work with,” she said.
On a personal note, a few months ago Regina adopted a 1 1/2 -year-old Labrador/Mastiff mix named “Cash Money,” who is keeping her on her toes. When her canine companion is calm, however, Regina enjoys being able to sit back and get some reading done.
Laela, a Collections Analyst in the Accounts Receivable Department, has worked for Koozie Group for over two years and also worked for Norwood Customer Service from 2000 to 2002. In her role, she takes calls for payments and to reconcile accounts and makes outbound calls to collect on money due from customers.
For Laela, the best parts about being a Koozie Group employee are being able to learn something new every day and working with a great group of people. As for her favorite People Power, Laela chose “Speak With Truth & Kindness; Act With Integrity.”
“It is important to me that customers always have a good experience when speaking with me, whether it’s as simple as taking a payment or trying to work through a resolution when they’re not happy,” she said. “I try to be understanding to their frustrations and do anything I can to help make their experience better and to help retain their business. I strive to always act with integrity, no matter the circumstances.”
Outside of work, Laela enjoys spending her spare time with her children and family members. She also has an eye for interior decorating and is now applying those skills toward landscaping.
