Production Lead – Manufacturing – Red Wing, Minnesota
Today we recognize Jean Murillo for her role as a Production Lead in our Manufacturing Department in Red Wing, Minnesota.
Jean has worked for Koozie Group for the past 14 years, the last five of which have been spent as a Production Lead in Bags. Before this, she was a Production Lead in Drinkware.
In her current role, Jean is in charge of administrative tasks, as well as making sure her department stays on schedule and keeps safety and quality at the forefront of everything they do. She also helps with troubleshooting printing problems, assigns labor to where it is needed, and works with other leads and warehouse employees to ensure that orders are on time and pleasing to the customer. Currently, she is working to establish a system that will help increase efficiency with scheduling employees.
In addition to the people, Jean’s favorite part about working at Koozie Group is having an interesting job that presents new opportunities every day. Her favorite product is the #26246 Koozie® Collapsible Folding Wagon, while her favorite People Power is “One Team.”
“I work hard daily with the whole plant to do the best for our customers,” she said.
Outside of work, Jean enjoys spending time with her family and attending her son’s sporting events.
