On Tuesday January 12th, Norwood Promotional Products welcomed their top golf customers to the 3rd Annual Norwood Edge Golf Invitational at Legacy Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada. Norwood is the biggest player among suppliers of golf-related products to the industry and is the only one to put on an event like this each year. Taking place the day before the PPAI Expo trade show in Las Vegas, the guests played a scramble format and enjoyed sunny conditions and temperatures topping out in the high sixties.
Representatives were on hand from TaylorMade®/adidas®, Nike®, Titleist®, FootJoy®, Callaway®, Cleveland®, Wilson® and fūl® Golf. Distributors had the opportunity to demo the latest equipment from each golf vendor and learn about the latest products and programs available. It is a unique opportunity for the manufacturers to meet with key golf distributors face-to-face. The Norwood Edge golf event makes these product demonstrations fun and interactive allowing players try the equipment on the course rather than just hitting on the practice range.
Nike® invited this year’s special guest, Nike athlete John Cook. John is an 11-time winner on the PGA Tour and a 4-time winner on the Champions Tour, where he currently plays. He wowed all with an exhibition and was available for group pictures and autographs. Just as in the previous two years, this year’s attendees truly enjoyed a great day at the golf course.
