Manager – Process Support – Sleepy Eye, Minnesota

Today we recognize Maria Perry for her role as a Manager in our Process Support Department.

Maria has over 22 years of experience with the company, having started her career in February 2001 in Deskside Support. She then transferred into Customer Service and took on a team lead position a few years later. Ten years ago, the department embarked on a journey to implementing Oracle and Maria had the opportunity to assist in that process.

“I have never looked back! Working with the business to translate requirements to IT development tasks has been a rewarding part of my career,” she said. “I have had the opportunity to be involved in other enhancements with Koozie Group over the years, including moving and supporting the business with the implementation of webform as our means of entering orders.”

Day to day, Maria advocates for our customers and internal users by easing the process of doing business and entering orders.

“The entire process is based on data input,” she said. “Good data equals good results and bad data indicates a potential for a negative customer service experience. My team is constantly analyzing the bad data to determine the root cause and bring that forward to IT for resolution.”

For Maria, whose favorite People Power is One Team, the best part about working at Koozie Group is collaborating with our IT associates.

“We have collaborated as a team unit over the past year and that growth has inspired me to continue to make things better,” she said. “Thiru, Sai, Brian, Chanpreet, and Prasanya and their team are instrumental in ensuring the bug fixes and enhancements to improve our customer service and internal processes.”

On a personal note, Maria has three grown children and five grandchildren who are the center of her world. (She is affectionately known by her family as “Mema.”) On a day-to-day basis, Maria and her family enjoy the company of their big fur babies, dogs named Garrett (a German Shephard and Irish Wolfhound mix) and Molly (a Black Lab and St. Bernard mix). Maria and her husband also enjoy going for rides on their motorcycle.
