BIC Graphic North America has further expanded their KAPSTON® brand with the San Marco collection. The new collection of four cotton canvas bags was designed to appeal to the KAPSTON® target audience of Millennial professionals and executive travelers from 25 to 34 years old. Since debuting in 2016, the KAPSTON™ brand has now grown to include five cohesive collections of retail-inspired bags, travel and meeting accessories.
The San Marco collection is the fifth within in the KAPSTON® line. The four new San Marco bags were designed by BIC Graphic NA’s in-house team to have a decidedly “preppy” feel with durable cotton canvas, leatherette/suede accents and striped interior lining. The four exclusive designs include a backpack, duffel, tote and messenger; all available in navy, gray and natural.
“Cotton canvas bags are extremely popular in retail right now, so we wanted to bring the trend to promo in a thoughtful way,” said Lauren Gantz, senior product manager for bags and apparel with BIC Graphic NA. “A natural cotton tote is nothing new, but the elevated features our designers included in the San Marco collection will help brands tell their stories with promo bags that end-users will want to carry every day.”
BIC Graphic NA recently conducted an end user survey on the KAPSTON® brand that reinforces the development of the San Marco collection. Survey results showed people prioritize durability and capacity when selecting a promotional bag, and over half of consumers use tote bags (58%) and/or backpacks (57%) for their work commute. Respondents also identified dark blue and gray as preferred colors, and leather accents as a preferred material.
The San Marco collection joins the already established Natisino, Jaxon, Stratford and Pierce collections within the KAPSTON® brand. With more than 30 exclusive bags, journals, padfolios, luggage and travel accessories, the KAPSTON® line includes several of BIC Graphic NA’s top sellers.
