Meagan Kohnert, Graphic Artist – Red Wing, MN
Today we honor Meagan as a BIC Graphic NA Hero for her dedication to our Ask, Seek, Go Deep and Learn People Power. It’s clear that Meagan truly cares about process improvements and goes above and beyond doing her part to help our company succeed.
Meagan joined the BIC Graphic NA team nearly five years ago. While working as a Basic Artist, she asked to learn Specialty Art. After working as a Specialty Artist, she was a Virtual Artist for three years before returning to a Graphic Artist position.
Day-to-day you’ll find Meagan formatting artwork for the optimum print quality while advising of issues as necessary. She will also recreate alternate layouts or logos as needed to get the best imprint quality for our customers. Her favorite part of working at BIC Graphic NA is seeing all the different logos that come through the order flow. Over the years she has developed a great understanding of what does and doesn’t work for imprint artwork.
Meagan’s favorite product is the #55843 Ripple Pen because she says it’s everything you need and want in a writing instrument.
Meagan enjoys watching Wisconsin sports teams, including the Badgers, Packers and Brewers, and goes to games whenever she can. Right now, she is number 46,392 on the Green Bay Packer Season Ticket waiting list, after being on it for at least 15 years. Her parents got their season tickets in 2015 after spending 35-1/2 years on the wait list!
Her hobbies include photography, fishing, hunting and 4-wheeling. She also loves to travel and has recently been to Canada for a week of fishing off-the-grid and Washington D.C. Meagan has already been to France and is looking at going to Germany and Poland with her parents in 2021. She also has an OLDER adopted brother – her parents were on the waiting list for another child until she came along!
Meagan also volunteered as a Firefighter and First Responder for 13 years in both Oregon and Wisconsin. She plans on returning to serve when time allows. She even survived a Tsunami while living in Brookings on the Oregon Coast in 2011!
Thank you, Meagan, for exemplifying our People Powers by positively contributing with comments and suggestions that improve processes and find solutions for our customers.
